Carolina Motorcycle Tours Meadows
of Dan VA to Cherokee NC. Four (4) Day, Three (3) Night Tour
June 20th – June 23rd, 2005 If you like the beauty of the mountains, this tour is for you.
The Appalachians are the oldest mountain chain in North America and the Blue Ridge Parkway is the "Backbone" of the Appalachian mountain range. The parkway offers a high balcony from which to view the natural wonders of this magnificent mountain region. The Appalachians is home to some of the greatest motorcycling roads in the world. The numerous overlooks provide parking areas from which to enjoy some of America's finest scenic views. Welcome to one of my favorite sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Meadows of Dan VA. to Cherokee NC. This area is proud to feature some of the most photographed, most visited parts of the Parkway including Mabry Mill, Linn Cove, Viaduct, Moses Cone Manor, Linville Falls Biltmore Estates, the enchanted land of The Cherokee and many, many, other historic spots. Just off the Parkway, you'll find an assortment of fun things to do, unique shops, comfortable lodgings and fine cuisine. Some of the more familiar towns in the area we will visit are Blowing Rock, Boone, Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, North Wilkesboro, Little Switzerland, Asheville, Maggie Valley and Cherokee NC.
Tuesday after a wonderful breakfast at the Daniel Boon Inn we will head toward Linville Caverns NC where we will tour NC’s only shown caverns. Leaving Linville we head back to the Parkway and on to Asheville NC. Wednesday after breakfast we get back on the Parkway and head to Cherokee NC to the Western most end of the Blue Ridge Parkway. From Cherokee we travel to Bryson City and on to Waynesville NC where a wonderful dinner awaits us and we will spend the night. Thursday after breakfast we will visit “Wheels Through Time” in Maggie Valley NC and other attractions alone the way back to Greensboro NC. Looking back, we hope you've just experienced something very special, whether it's riding the glorious mountains of Western North Carolina or the new friends you just made along the way.

Monday
we leave Greensboro NC going toward Mabry Mill on The Blue Ridge
Parkway. We will follow the Blue Ridge Parkway to Boone and Blowing
Rock NC where we will spend the night.
